Wood fence installation
A wood fence is the most common way to add privacy to a San Antonio backyard. It can be built to the height and style you want, stained to match your home, and repaired board by board when something breaks.
Styles we build
Standard privacy fences use tightly spaced vertical boards for full coverage. Horizontal board fences give a more modern look. Shadowbox fences alternate boards on both sides of the rails, so they look finished from either side and let some air through, which helps in high wind.
Cedar or pine
Cedar naturally resists rot and insects and tends to stay straighter over time, and it costs more. Pine costs less and holds up well when it is sealed or stained and kept up. Either one lasts longer with a stain or sealer, especially in Texas sun.
Posts and footings
Posts carry the whole fence, so how they are set matters more than the boards. Our posts are set in concrete. Ground conditions differ across Central Texas, from expansive clay to shallow rock, and they change how posts need to be set, so describe your lot when you request an estimate.
Before you build
Fence height and placement rules vary by city and neighborhood, and HOAs often add their own. Confirm your property line and any HOA rules first, and tell us if the fence will be shared with a neighbor.
