Chain-link fence installation
Chain link is the practical choice when you need a fence that goes up quickly, costs less than most alternatives and lasts. It is common around yards, dog runs, sports courts, storage areas and construction sites.
Galvanized or vinyl-coated
Galvanized chain link has a zinc coating that resists rust and is the standard, low-cost option. Vinyl-coated chain link adds a color layer, usually black or green, that blends into landscaping and adds protection against the weather.
Heights and gates
Residential yards commonly use shorter heights, while commercial and industrial sites go taller for security. Walk gates and wide drive gates can be added along the fence line.
Pets and children
If you have dogs that dig or jump, mention it when you request an estimate so the design can account for it. Height and how the fence meets the ground both matter.
Privacy and upgrades
Chain link is open by design. If you want more privacy later, slats can be woven into the mesh, or the fence can be paired with landscaping.
